Washington, Dec 12 : Golden boy Michael Phelps was overwhelmed after learning that his favourite rapper Lil Wayne had recorded a personal song for him.

The 23-year-old swimmer, who won eight Olympics gold medals, was stunned after meeting the rapper at the MTV Video Music Awards in September (08).

When asked about what was he listening to nowadays Phelps revealed that he had listened to the hip-hop star''s track I''m Me, which Wayne had sung to motivate before the races.

"Lil'' Wayne presented me with this iPod which contained 40 unreleased songs he had recorded - and one was called Michael Phelps,” Contactmusic quoted Phelps as saying.

"In that song he just keeps rapping ''Michael Phelps, Michael Phelps, swimming through the water ...'' I like all the songs he gave me but obviously that means the most," he added. (ANI)
