‘Love rat’ Gordon Ramsay slammed by fans for bad TV performance

‘Love rat’ Gordon Ramsay slammed by fans for bad TV performanceLondon, Nov 30 : Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been slammed by fans, who say that he should not bring his personal problems along on his live TV performance and should sort it out at home.

Ramsay, 42, who had performed live on Channel 4’s Cookalong show on November 28, was accused by fans of struggling to keep his calm, messing up his lines on camera and faltering during live links to show participants in Essex and Wales.

“He looked like a man with the weight of the world on his mind,” the Daily Star quoted student Joanne Hughes, 19, as saying.

“When the cameras were rolling he tried to put on a professional face by smiling and laughing a lot.

“But it all seemed a bit false. Off camera, he just stood around with his shoulders slumped and wasn’t bubbly at all.

“He hardly spoke to the audience during ad breaks and, after the show, he gave a quick ‘thank-you’ and just walked out. It definitely looked as if his mind was elsewhere and you can understand why with these affair allegations.

“It was a bit of a disaster. I think he should take a break,” she added.

After the show, he fled through a back door and was whisked away in his chauffeur-driven Bentley.

Ramsay, a dad-of-four, has been facing claims of an affair with 38-year-old Sarah Symonds and accused of cheating on his wife Tana. (ANI)
