Lalu accuses Nitish, Rudy of poll malpracticePatna, Apr. 16 : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday accused his BJP rival Rajiv Pratap Rudy and the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government in Bihar of electoral malpractice.

Lalu, whose political future is to be decided by the voter turnout today, claimed that socially underprivileged sections like Dalits were not allowed to vote in his Saran (Chhapra) parliamentary constituency on Thursday, and those who attempted to do so, were attacked by upper caste voters.

In an interview to Times Now, Lalu said: I will not respond to hypothetical situations. I can only say that the Yadav front is unbreakable. Those who want to join the NDA can do so, but we have kept all our options open as far as the Third Front is concerned."

The Kishanganj District administration filed its complaint against Lalu Yadav under the People''s Representation Act this morning.

Lalu Prasad Yadav, Ram Vilas PaswanLucknow, Apr 3 : Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Friday vowed to fight communal forces and work for the poor.

"LJP, SP and the RJD have come together to fight against communal forces, and not against Congress," Paswan said.

Mulayam Singh said the `Front' would fight against corruption together.

"We are determined to fight for the poor. We will fight against corruption together," Singh announced.

Congress to field candidates against RJD, LJP

Lalu Prasad YadavPatna, Mar 31 : The Congress Party on Tuesday said that it would field its candidates in Bihar against the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan, who it considers as its biggest enemies in the coming general elections.

Agitated over the decision by the RJD and LJP to contest all the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, state PCC chief Anil Kumar Sharma said, "RJD and LJP have made Congress their enemy number one in the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar."
