London, Aug. 13 : Britain’s Prince Charles has warned that GM crops could cause the world’s biggest-ever environmental disaster.
In his most outspoken intervention on the issue of GM food, the heir to the British throne said that multi-national companies were conducting an experiment with nature that had gone "seriously wrong".
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Telegraph, Charles also expressed the fear that food would run out because of the damage being wreaked on the earth''s soil by scientists'' research.
London, Aug 5: After being bestowed with the honour “Freedom of Caithness”, Prince Charles paid a moving tribute to his grandmother late Queen Elizabeth saying he wished to ring her up to convey how he felt receiving the award.
But, he added, the most frustrating thing for him was that he couldn’t ring up to tell her about it.
London, June 8 : A Caribbean cruise holiday taken by Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will cost British taxpayers a whopping 220,000 pounds.

The royal couple, who flew first or business class, also spent 10,176 pounds on food and drink on the Foreign Office tour.
London - Britain's Prince Charles Thursday called for a halting of logging in the world's rainforests which he said would be the greatest single contribution to alleviating the effects of climate change.
Mechanisms had to be devised to pay poor countries to prevent them felling their rainforests which were the earth's "air conditioning system," the prince said in a BBC interview.
