Lucknow, Mar 23 : The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) spokesperson for Uttar Pradesh Rajkumar Ojha on Monday said that his party could field 15 candidates in the state for the upcoming general elections.
"The party has decided to field 15 candidates in the state and has already declared its candidates from five Lok Sabha constituencies," Ojha said.
Ojha further said that there is a possibility to fight the elections under the banner of the National Dalit Front (NDF).
New Delhi, Mar 20 : Ram Vilas Paswan and Lalu Prasad, leaders of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) respectively, held an emergency meeting on Thursday evening.
The meeting came after Congress that it might contest over 26 seats in the Lok Sabha polls from Bihar, where the RJD and the LJP have a seat-sharing arrangement.
New Delhi, Mar 17 : Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Tuesday strongly pitched for a secular form of government in Bihar while announcing the seat sharing arrangement between the two parties in the state.
Out of the 40 seats, the RJD will contest 25 seats and the LJP will contest 12 seats. The remaining three seats have been left for the Congress.
State-run National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) on February 26 paid an interim dividend worth Rs 4.01 billion to the administration.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone of a new block of the public sector Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL) to manufacture `Cephalosporin' in Gurgaon today, Paswan said the government is trying its best to provide affordable health services to everybody.
