London - Arsenal will be without forward Robin van Persie and full-back Gael Clichy for next week's Champions League semi-final first leg against Manchester United, manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Thursday.

Van Persie had a groin injury while Clichy has a back problem.

Wenger confirmed that goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, defender Johan Djourou and striker Emmanuel Adebayor could all return for Sunday's Premier League game against Middlesbrough.

"We will rotate a little bit again, but we have no major injuries from Liverpool," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

London  - A rare collection of early paintings by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler fetched more than 95,000 pounds (139,000 dollars) at auction in Britain Thursday.

The 13 pictures, including oil and water colours, were painted between 1908 and 1914, when the Nazi leader was in his 20s and hoping to become an artist, specialist auctioneers Mullock's said.

London - Britain's Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs, who gave himself up to police in 2001 after 36 years on the run, is likely to be freed from jail in July in time for his 80th birthday, his lawyer said in London on Thursday.

Biggs, who is partially paralyzed after a series of strokes, seizures and heart attacks, is currently held under medical supervision in Norwich hospital, in south-east Britain.

The Times quoted Lord Carlile of Berriew, the reviewer of terrorism legislation, said that he would carry out “a snapshot review” of the detention of 12 men picked up a fortnight ago in Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire, amid claims of an Easter bomb plot. Gordon Brown said at the time that the authorities had foiled “a very big terrorist plot”.

The feud started when Eminem, real name Marshal Mathers III, rapped about raping and killing his mum.

His mom tried to sue him for slander and wrote revenge book ‘My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting the Record Straight on My Life as Eminem''s Mother’.

The 40-year-old actress, who’s known for her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the sci-fi drama, is likely to be cast opposite the new Doctor Matt Smith.

She will play the role of the renegade Time Lady The Rani, a glamorous but evil scientific genius previously played in the series by Kate O''Mara in the 80s.
