akshay“First it was Preity’s darshan now I go for Priyadarshan,” joked Akshay Kumar from South Africa where after suddenly attending an IPL match he was off to Singapore to shoot with Priyadarshan.

If after vowing not to be any part of the IPL in South Africa Akshay Kumar was seen at the IPL match in Cape Town last Sunday it was because of Delhi.

Apparently Akshay had made it clear that he wouldn’t be any part of the games although pals Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty were involved.

But Delhi did the trick for Akshay.

Ness Wadia & Preity Zinta Finally, the dimpled-beauty Preity Zinta has formally declared that her relationship with Bombay Dyeing scion Ness Wadia is no more.

Miss Zinta sent an e-mail to her IPL team ‘Kings XI Punjab’ that Ness is only her business partner, and they do not have any personal relationship.

A source in Cape Town said, “As there has been a lot of buzz about their personal equation, Preity being extremely professional, felt it was important to clear the air.”

The Independent Electoral Commission said all the votes had been counted but that the verification and data entry was still ongoing.

The ANC was receiving 60.6 per cent of the vote, followed by the Democratic Alliance of Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille with 21.88 per cent. Coming in third was the Congress of the People (COPE), founded by disaffected ANC members last year, with 7.63 per cent of the vote.
