New Delhi, Feb 2 : A meeting of public sector oil companies called by the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Murli Deora, today arrived at a decision to spend at least two percent of profits on corporate social responsibilities.

The aim of the meeting was to review the contribution of Oil Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) to activities related to Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).

Petroleum Secretary R S Pandey also attended the meeting.

Addressing participants at the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) Sammelan 2009 at the Pusa Institute here, Mukherjee said NREGA has given an opportunity to the common man to seek employment at his own will and live a life of self-respect and dignity.

New Delhi, Feb 2 : Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. M. S. Gill met members of the Anti Doping Disciplinary Panel, Anti Doping Appeal Panel and Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) Committee here today.

During the meeting, the panels have also been advised to seek the advice of the international experts also in the area of Anti Doping to make their efforts more effective.
