Tony Blair’s money spinning mantra bags him £15m in two yearsLondon, Jan 11: Tony Blair's earnings are expected to touch the 15-million pound mark by July, two years since his departure from Downing Street, according to reports.

Blair is these days busy preparing for discussions in the Middle East on a subject of global importance.

The speech on climate change be delivered to a conference in Abu Dhabi sponsored by a Swiss bank is one of the many money-spinning engagements that are expected to take Blair's earnings to 15 million pounds by the seventh month of the year.

According to reports, Blair's forthcoming projects include the climate conference in Abu Dhabi on January 21, a university talk near Boston on February 2 and a trip to a California theatre where tickets cost up to 380 dollars each.

Blair ranks as the most expensive speaker in the world. His agents at the Washington Speakers Bureau typically charge 250,000 dollars for a 90-minute speech.

Apparently, he also gets paid about 2million pounds a year by JP Morgan Chase and a further 500,000 pounds a year by Zurich Financial Services.

The deal for his memoirs is worth a reported 4.6 million pounds. (ANI)
