‘Twilight’ tops weekend box office
Washington, Nov 24: ‘Twilight’, a 2008 romantic-fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, has topped the weekend box office after raking in 70.6 million dollars.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer.
According to studio estimates, the latest Bond flick ‘Quantum of Solace’ came second after earning 27.4 milliion dollars, reports E! Online.
‘Bolt’came third with 27 million dollars while ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’ landed the fourth spot, after pocketing 16 million dollars.
Rounding off the top five was ‘Role Models’, which raked in 7.2 million dollars.
