Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (LTCOE), Koparkhairane is conducting a sports festival, Sportz Zephyrsm. The festival commenced on February 23 and will end on March 3. The eight-day event will have games like cricket, football, chess, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, basketball, table tennis, carom, throwball, tug-of-war etc. About sixteen colleges are participating in the inter-collegiate and intra-collegiate tournament.

While cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and table tennis are included in the inter-collegiate category, other sports like basketball, kabaddi, throwball, carom, chess and tug-of-war are held in the intra-collegiate category. All the events have male and female categories except Volleyball which has only male's category and throwball which is organised only for girls.

Sports Secretary Hemant Bangera says, "We conduct this event to promote sportsman spirit and strengthen the moral fibre of the students. The event is simultaneously conducted at four different places in the vicinity of our college. Through this event we give and equal chance to boys and girls to showcase their talent in different sports they are interested in." Sportz Zephyrsm attracts an average of 3,500 audiences every year.
