15 dead bodies found at Pamir Airways plane crash siteOfficials have informed that the bodies of 15 people have been found at the site of a plane crash in a mountainous northern province of Afghanistan.

Xinhua news agency reported on Friday that the Pamir Airways flight from the northern Kunduz province, bound for Kabul with 43 persons aboard, went missing moments after takeoff earlier this week.

Afghan Parliament member Fatima Aziz said after visiting the crash site in the Gorband district of Parwan province, "So far 15 bodies of the plane crash victims have been found."

She further added that wreckage was spread over a large area of snow-covered mountains.

Xinhua has reported that an official of Pamir Airways said the aircraft's black box had been recovered. (With Inputs from Agencies)
