3D images reveal life inside Honeybee colony

3D images reveal life inside Honeybee colonyA new way has been developed by the scientists to have a look inside the honeybee home without disturbing them. In this new plan a scan of the bee hive is done with taking series of 3D images to reveal the facts. This technique is called Diagnostic Radioentopology (DR). These pictures are so powerful that it can find out the numbers of bees are inside the hive as well.

It can also say what they are exactly doing inside their colony and it can also provide an all new experience to see the inside of a hive.

This technique could help the scientists immensely to understand the lives of the honeybees. This new amazing technique has been developed by the scientists of the University of Bath and the group was led by Dr. Soleimani and Prof Mitchell. Mark Greco and his colleagues in the Bee research center at Bern in Switzerland have also helped to develop this. They have used X-ray computerized tomography named imaging technology to scan a bee hive lively.
