Acer launches its new Android smartphone ‘Liquid’Acer has launched a new Android based smartphone 'Liquid' which is the first in the world to use Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, in the Indian market.

The phone offers real time communication along with the location aware content. The unique feathers this phones offer includes new user interface developed by the company and its partners along with improved power management systems.

The Android OS 1.6 smartphone supports GSM / EDGE / 3G technologies with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 768 Mhz. The dimensions of the phone are 115 x 62.5 x 12.5 mm and it weighs 135 grams. Its display is a
3.5" touch screen with resolutions of WVGA 800 x 480 pixels for clarity.

Various multimedia functions in the phone include web browsing, social media integration as well as video streaming options. The phone's exteriors are unique and fluidity of the curves gives it a stylish look.

As for the connectivity solutions the phone offers WiFi, GPS as well as Bluetooth. The battery of the phone is 1350 mAh and its offers memory of 512 MB ROM 256 MB RAM and a memory card of 2GB and the memory can be expanded through microSD.

Liquid also features a 5 megapixel Camera with autofocus, geo tagging and self-timer. It also has an Audio Jack socket of 3.5 mm. The phone will be available in Airtel outlets in the country.

Acer Liquid will be offered in three colors, black, white and red and it will come with a price tag of Rs 24,900.
