London - Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse was Wednesday arrested over the possession of drugs at a London police station, Scotland Yard said.

The 24-year-old singer had attended the police station "by appointment," her spokesman said.

On April 25, Winehouse was arrested on suspicion of assault following reports that she punched and head-butted two men during a night, but later released on bail. (dpa)
