According to a survey conducted in US last month, it has been discovered that e-Book reader and multipurpose gadget, iPad from Apple might emerge as a very successful product. Consumers have signaled in favor of the product. The survey has queried the American consumers on their further purchase plans. Most of them were positive for the upcoming iPad due to the popular e-reader facility.

But the review has created an immense concern for other competitors like Amazon, Sony etc. Possible demand for Apple's e-book suggests that the other big names are surely going to lose their market share.

Apple's iPad undoubtedly is going to be a serious threat for the e-reader business of World's largest e-books provider Amazon.

Director of research for ChangeWave Research, Paul Carton has informed that the iPad will have a huge impact on the e-reader market. Statistically there is a few number of e-reader manufacturers in the world along with the market leader Amazon. But the findings of the survey are clearly suggesting that the analysts will find a different market share report after April, as the Apple iPad enters the market.
