Buenos Aires - The triumph of Democratic candidate Barack Obama in the US presidential election is "a message of hope," Argentine Foreign Minister Jorge Taiana said Wednesday in Buenos Aires.

Taiana further defined Tuesday's election result as "proof that a cycle is coming to an end in the world, a cycle dominated by an ideology such as neoliberalism and by a policy that was unilateralism and the imposition of decisions."
