London - The Bank of England (BoE) Thursday left interest rates unchanged at 0.5 per cent, its lowest level in history, a statement said.

The central bank's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) also decided to leave the level of its quantitative easing programme to boost the money supply unchanged at 175 billion pounds (280 billion dollars). (dpa)
