Bihar candidates try to woo votersPatna, Apr. 20: Ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, campaigning is in full swing in Bihar with all parties trying all means and modes to woo the voters.

Actor-turned-Congress candidate Shekhar Suman told his constituency people that his party had fifty years of development history, and that is why it should be voted to power.

"I want to tell the people that Congress is the only party that has brought progress to our nation and out of 60 years of independence, the Congress has ruled for 50 years and the reason behind it is that people have trust in this party," said Suman, who is contesting from Patna Sahib seat.

Meanwhile, BJP candidate Shatrughan Sinha''s wife Poonam Sinha campaigned for her husband who is contesting against Suman from the same constituency.

In Bhagalpur constituency, BJP candidate Shahnawaz Hussain interacted with the locals, and asked for their support.

"I am contesting for general elections. I am asking people to vote and to give their support for next five years. People here trust us a lot and we will prove ourselves," said Hussain.

The outcome of the five-stage elections will be known on May 16 and also about the formation of the next federal government. (ANI)
