London, Apr 16 : Rocker Billy Joel''s wife has rubbished reports that she is romantically involved with Israeli designer Yigal Azrouel.

Katie Lee, 27, who wed the rocker in 2004, is baffled by the reports and branded the rumours "mean-spirited and untrue" on her Twitter page.

Her representative also denied the claims.

"They''ve just been friends - purely platonic," the Daily Express quoted the rep as telling Usmagazine.

Chef Lee sparked claims of infidelity after she and Azrouel were photographed dancing intimately during a night out late last month.

Lee's rep also cleared up any reports suggesting she has been feuding with Joel over her desire to start a family.

Joel, who has a grown up daughter from his relationship with supermodel Christie Brinkley, is allegedly against the idea of having another child at the age of 59, but the rep insists, "There is no issue over babies." (ANI)
