BSF organises health camp in West Tripura

BSFSonamura (Agartala), Mar 24 : The Border Security Force (BSF) organised a health camp under its civic action programme in Putia area of West Tripura recently.

A K Sharma, the Commandant of the 22 battalion of the BSF, said the BSF had the responsibility of looking after the prosperity and development of the border population, besides protecting it.

Over 1000 patients attended the health camp.

Arshad Ali, a resident praised the BSF for its healthcare activities.

Such camps are very helpful for poor people who do not get government heath amenities, said Bakula Khatun, another resident.

Doctors and medical staff from the Global Educational Net (GENET) run B R Ambedkar Medical College (BRAM) College helped the BSF during the camp. (ANI)
