Acer, a multinational computer technology and electronics company joins hands with sports car maker Ferrari to introduce special edition of smartphone.

The company said on Tuesday that phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset.

Acer India chief marketing officer S Rajendran said that the phone will be available at Rs 29,999 exclusively for the festive  period  in India , later on prices will be revised.

The phone is loaded with 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and to regulate its volume automatically it has a privileged bluetooth headset.

Rajendran further told that today's consumer gets more attracted to mobile internet style anytime and anywhere and to meet those standards Acer has introduced a range of smartphones which are equipped with latest multimedia applications.

In the first few weeks, the handset would be sold through Croma, which is a multi-brand consumer durable and electronic shop and afterwards it will be available in other retail outlets.

Infinity Retail Ltd CEO and MD Ajit Joshi said that we are enormously overjoyed to tie partnership with Acer for the launch of Acer Liquid E Ferrari special edition.

He also said that, the phone will be available for a range of users like from professionals, sports enthusiasts to youngsters. It is also accessible to all key metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Pune through Croma.
