Europe says yes to establish marine restrained areas

Jean-Louis-BorlooEuropean nations approved on Friday that they will establish 6 confined marine areas in the northeast Atlantic in a proposal to step up the defense of the region's surroundings.

The conclusion was taken at a conference in the southwestern Norwegian city of Bergen of the OSPAR Commission, an organization done over with 15 regional countries, beside with the European Union, effort s to save the surroundings of the northeast Atlantic.

They have distanced almost 6 sector or marine protected areas (MPAs) above a entire area of 185,000 square kilometers (71,400 square miles) in which human actions will be very less.

All These zones are including several variety of endangered deep-sea species and habitats ,the OSPAR Commission expressed in a conference and latter on adding that it sought to make "a precedent" worldwide.

French Ecology and Marine Affairs Minister Jean-Louis Borloo said in a statement that this moment is historic.

Moreover the ecological group Oceana criticized European nations for impending back the creation of the MPAs to 2012in which they were compelled to do so this year over international law, and even now possess only a third of the confined region needed.
