New Delhi, Jan 19 : Former President R Venkataraman remains in a critical condition, a spokesman of the Army Hospital Research and Referral, said here today.

Ninety-eight year old Venkataraman was admitted to the hospital on January 12 with delirium and dehydration.

Venkataraman was found to have E-Coli urinary tract infection and sepsis. He also has evidence of pneumonia and respiratory failure for which he is on respiratory support.

A team of physicians is constantly monitoring his health. (ANI)
