Geet Sethi of Gujarat has defeated National champion Pankaj Advani in the final of the G. Raman Nair National handicap billiards tournament at the ECA Hall on Sunday.

Geet registered a comprehensive win against Pankaj and won the title by 1000-289.

Geet's performance was brilliant as he came with a score of 148 in the seventh visit, 115 in the eighth and a massive 313 in the ninth visit.

Pankaj also came good in ninth visit as he scored 164 but he was unable to stop Geet from clinching the title.

Earlier, Geet defeated Maharashtra's Dhruv Sitwala 1000-663 in the semifinal of the G. Raman Nair National handicap billiards tournament.

Geet won prize money of Rs 25,000 with the title of the G. Raman Nair National handicap billiards tournament.
