Travis Barker sues over plane crash; alleges mishap may cause ''permanent disability'

Washington, Nov 23 : Travis Barker, who survived a deadly plane crash with DJ AM, is suing Clay Lacy Aviation and three other companies for damages for personal injury and wrongful death, alleging that the injuries might lead to ''permanent disability''

From what is written in court papers, Barker''s lawyer has alleged that the former Blink-182 drummer lives with debilitating injuries since the crash.

According to court papers, Barker "was hurt and injured in his health, strength and activity, sustaining injuries to his body and shock and injury to his nervous system" in the plane crash, causing him "great physical, mental and nervous pain and suffering,” reports The Insider.

Janet Jackson’s ‘nipplegate’ case to be reviewed again

London, Nov 23 : The ‘nipplegate’ scandal involving Janet Jackson is to be reviewed again.

After Jackson’s right nipple was exposed while she was performing with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 SuperBowl, a fine of 550,000 dollars was slapped on TV network CBS by the U. S. Federal Communications Commission officials, who said that they broke indecency rules.

However, a federal court subsequently ruled that CBS would not have to pay the fine, as they were not responsible for Jackson’s actions, reports the Daily Star.

Chris Martin ‘plans’ to go solo

London, Nov 23 : Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is planning to launch a solo career, it has emerged.

Martin, who is married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has a tight schedule lined up for next year so he can bow out of Coldplay before his 33rd birthday in March 2010.

A final album is already in the pipeline for December 2009 along with a string of farewell performances.

“I’m 31 now—and I don’t think that bands should keep going past 33, so we’re trying to pack in as much as possible. We’ll go for it until the end of next year,” News of the World quoted Martin, as saying.

Martin will then focus on a solo career.
