Renowed Kathak promoter and guru, Rohini Bhate passes away died in Pune on Friday.

Suffering from the Parkinson's disease for the last five years, Bhate condition deteriorated at his residence on Friday night, the family sources said. She was 84.

Her daughter-in-law Shama Bhate said, “Bhate had been suffering from Parkinson’s for the last ten years. She was ill for the last two-and-a-half months.”

On his 66th birthday, Bollywood shenshah Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Lilavati hospital because of abdominal pain and breathlessness.
