German bicycle brand Cube unveils cutting-edge Longtail Hybrid Cargo e-bike

Cube, a renowned bicycle brand based in Germany, is making waves in the world of personal electric mobility with the launch of its latest innovation – the Longtail Hybrid Cargo E-Bike. This cutting-edge Longtail Hybrid Cargo E-Bike aims to revolutionize the way we transport goods and navigate urban streets. The Cube Longtail Hybrid cargo e-bike, true to its name, is designed with a longtail configuration. It features an extended rear wheelbase for added stability to enable the rider to carry heavy loads.

The new e-bike is available in two versatile versions to choose from, and it is highly adaptable as well as customizable to suit the rider’s unique requirements and preferences.

One of the standout features of the new e-bike is its spacious rear luggage rack that is capable of accommodating up to two children aged up to three years. It allows the rider to use child seats equipped with built-in footrests. For older children, there's a bench-style attachment for transporting children up to the age of seven. The rear rack can easily handle loads of up to 40 kg, while additional 10 kg can be mounted on the sides of the e-bike. Furthermore, there is the option to install a front luggage rack for carrying an additional load of 20 kg.

When it comes to powertrain, the electric cargo bike comes equipped with a Bosch's fourth-generation hi-tech Performance Line CX electric motor, which promises an impressive maximum torque of 85 Newton-meters (Nm). It the e-bike can conquer steep inclines even when it is fully loaded. For power, it relies on a Bosch PowerPack battery that offering 725 watt-hours (Wh) of capacity. As the battery pack is removable, one can take it easily out of the-bike for recharging it anywhere inside home or office. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a Gates Carbon Drive belt, while an Enviolo stepless gear hub is there to make gear changes seamless. The 26-inch wheels of the bike comes outfitted with reliable Schwalbe tires.
