Hamilton insists relationship with teammate Rosberg 'back to normal'

Hamilton RosbergLondon, Sep 21 : Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has said that his relationship with teammate and title rival Nico Rosberg is back to normal ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

The Mercedes duo will resume their championship fight in Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix, for which Hamilton is on pole by 0.007 seconds from Rosberg. The two collided in Belgium two races ago, for which the team blamed Rosberg.

Hamilton said that it seems to be nice and relaxed, adding that, of course, it was difficult after Spa but things look like they are back to normal, The BBC reported.

Meanwhile, Rosberg said that the atmosphere in the team is very good, adding that it is a great feeling at the moment. He said that they have difficulties, there have been several during the year, but that is natural.

The German said that he and Hamilton are fighting for race wins every single weekend. But, added that they discuss and then they move on.

Rosberg said that they have managed to do that very well this year, adding that, of course, it is intense internally and it would remain that way but it is being managed and is working OK at the moment.

Mercedes F1 boss Toto Wolff said that he did not expect the drivers to have a similar incident in Singapore.

Hamilton heads into Sunday's grand prix 22 points behind Rosberg in the championship and a win for either would mark a potentially decisive shift in momentum, the report added. (ANI)
