Music composer Harris Jayaraj has been replaced by Yuvan Shankar for Ajith and Sameera Reddy starrer Asal. There are reports that Harris Jayaraj was delaying the composing of music for the songs.

At present the story discussion of the flick is in progress and it is expected to hit the floors most likely in next month. The film is being produced by under the banner of Shivaji Productions while Saran is directing it.

Asal is going to be the 49th film of Ajith and fourth under the direction of Saran who is Ajith's friend and favorite director. Earlier the duo has given hits like, Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam. – Sampurn Media
