I Love Children, Not Awards, Says Madhuri Dixit

Winning a Padma Shri award would surely be a dream for many, but it is Madhuri Dixitnot that worthy for Bollywood’s ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit, who received the prestigious award for her valuable contribution to Indian cinema.

The queen of million hearts said that she loves children, not awards.

She also said that she never aimed for awards but she only wanted to have kids, and that too, a dozen of them.

Neither Madhuri, nor her loving hubby Dr. Nene is very excited for the Padma Shri.

She said, “When I got the letter from India, my husband asked me what is Padma Shri. When I explained the honour, he was so awed.”

Madhuri also said that as a kid, she talked of growing up and having many kids, as she loves children.

Madhuri also said that as a kid, she had a totally different list of must-dos.

“Even as a kid, I talked of growing up and having kids as I love children. I used to tell my mother that I want to have 12 kids. But after two, I just gave up the idea,” she laughed and said.

Proud mother of five-year-old Arin and three-year-old Ryan, the actress also said that her children make her feel beautiful and great.

“When I was carrying Arin, I was nervous, apprehensive and very happy. But the first time I held him in my arms, it all felt so worth it,” she said.
