Ace Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan said that he is shocked by the brilliant success of his recently released movie ‘Golmaal Returns.’

The film, which was released during Diwali, had shocking 95-100% occupancy across theaters. This surprised the actor as he didn’t expect such a big opening.

On this, Ajay said, “I don’t know what worked for the film. We knew it would work, but never expected it would be this big. I have been told that it had the biggest opening in the last 5-6 years. I am also told that the first week’s collection is something totally unheard of. It is shocking. I didn’t expect this at all. I guess there is some kind of luck attached.”

The movie fared equally well in single screens as well as multiplexes.

But, Ajay is not letting himself to fly high after this huge success.

“I know there is yet another Friday coming up where I might have to hit a low. So, its better that I don’t fly too high now,” he said humbly.

After his directorial debut U, Me Aur Hum, Ajay also plans to direct another film shortly.

“I have been working on a script on dark humour for last six months. I will start it as soon as I have some time,” he said.

As far as planning his life is concerned, the actor admitted that he’s always been a little laidback.

He said, “My journey in Bollywood just happened. I have never had any long-term goals. I live for the moment. I work hard and don’t think about what it will bring me the next day. I flow with the tide and if you do that, things are bound to work for you.”

Kajol’s loving hubby also said that ‘luck’ has always favored him.

“I am lucky that people have accepted me in all kinds of roles. Not many can boast of this. That’s what keeps me going because I know I can do things differently,” he said.

But there is one important thing that he thinks that cannot be explained even by words – ‘the feeling of being a father.’

“After your child is born, suddenly everything changes. You become more responsible and all your decisions are taken accordingly. Whatever worries you have during the day, one glimpse of your child and everything is forgotten. You simply stop thinking about yourself. I am not reckless, thanks to my child. My short-term decisions are also based on the effect it will have on my family. I would never do the things I did 10 years ago, because now my family’s feelings come first,” he said.
