ICC chief satisfied with crowd response at T20 World Cup

Haroon LorgatICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat is satisfied with the crowd response at T20 World Cup going on in West Indies.

Although the stands are yet to be filled up completely, Lorgat is happy with the response of the local crowd in the tournament.

He has accepted that it was a major mistake of ICC during the ICC World Cup 2007 when they had not allowed the local fans with musical instruments in to the stands. People in West Indies love the game and also like to enjoy it in their own way. In the 2007 World Cup, there were very less number of locals.

The ICC Chief Executive has admitted the mistake and has said that this time they are allowed with all their musical instruments. He has also informed that now the difference can be visualized when local supporters have been allowed to do what they are familiar with.

They are coming with their drums and trumpets and enjoying the game in their way. He has also said the support of the locals has been extra ordinary during the current event.
