The appreciation of dollar is not good news for Infosys as per the reports of the analysts. The company is currently doing most of its business in GBP (pound), euro and A$ (Australian dollar). But these currencies are not showing good signs as compared to the US dollar. Top analysts of the industry suggested full policy revision for the financial year. The company is likely to miss even 6% sequential growth guidance for the September 2008 quarter.

It is recalled that the value of rupee depreciated from Rs 42 to Rs 45 against the dollar. This is enough to raise the morale of Indian IT firms. The CFO of Infosys technology, V. Balakrishnan said that the time would decide the impact of dollar o the revenue of the company. The company is fetching around 30% of its revenues from non-dollar currencies.
