Jaipur blast to destabilise country: Sri Prakash JaiswalNew Delhi, May 14 : Minister of State for Home Affairs Sri Prakash Jaiswal on Wednesday said that the Jaipur blasts are intended to destabilize country as the blasts have a definite link with the blasts occurred in the past.

Addressing a news conference in New Delhi today in the wake of Tuesday's serial blasts in Jaipur in which more than 63 people have died and 150 sustained injuries, Jaiswal said without naming any country or the terrorist organization that they want to derail the process of growth and development in India.

“Whichever organization and the country has hands in the blasts is trying to destabilize India because of its growth and development,” said Jaiswal.

He also told reporters that the blasts were very methodical and appears to have links with the blasts, which have taken place in the past.

“It seems that these blasts have a definite link with the blast of the past which occurred in places like Varanasi, Faizabad, Ajmer Sharif and Hyderabad,” added Jaiswal.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened across the country as there have been many arrests following the blasts.

In Indore, the police have arrested 32 suspicious people.

“We have arrested 32 people who were found suspicious. All the arrestees are from different places. We have taken details from them and the verification is being carried out,” said Mahinder Singh Gujjar, police station in-charge, Indore railway station.

In the meantime, a wave of protests has erupted across the country against the diabolic act of terrorism killing the innocents in heaps.

In Bhopal activists Bajarang Dal took to streets and shouted slogans against terrorism and the political leaders at the helm of UPA-led Central government.

“Sonia Gandhi and UPA-led Central government only know how to appease Muslims. There have been many explosions in temples, I want to know through media that what is the progress in their inquiry? These are not only terrorist organizations but leaders are equally responsible for such crimes as they help terrorists organizations like SIMI," said Sushil Sudole, leader Bajarang Dal.

Tributes were paid to the victims of the blasts in Allahabad by people who chanted slogans. (ANI)
