Wanna a chance to own Katrina’s costumes and accessories?

In a first of its kind effort aimed to support her mother’s orphanage, Mercy Home in Chennai, Bollywood leading actor Katrina Kaif had decided to auction her clothes and accessories.

A source close to the actress said that Katrina is planning to auction some of her belongings for the highest bidder. The source added that the auction is planned to happen very soon.

Confirming the report, Katrina said, “Yes, I will be helping my mother to raise a fund of Rs 50 lakh, which is the amount required.”

However, when the actor was asked why she chose to auction her stuff when she can easily afford to donate the amount on her own, she said,

“Because it will create awareness and motivate people to come forward, which will further help the cause”.

It should be noted here that Kat’s mother Sussaina is also supports another social organization, Hope Reach that fight against female foeticide.
