At least 30 dead as train, bus and truck collide north of Cairo
Cairo - At least 30 people were killed when a train, a bus and a truck collided in the coastal city of Mersa Matrouh, 524 kilometres north-west of the Egyptian capital Cairo.
Security sources said that both the bus and the truck were passing over the railway tracks despite warning signals when the collision occurred.
The train was heading to Mersa Matrouh. The number of people injured was unknown. (dpa)
