LG to showcase 180-inch Plasma 3D TV Prototype at IFA 2010

LG-180-inch3DTVThe Korean consumer durable player, LG is all set to display a whole new range of 3D devices at the IFA 2010. However the main attraction remained the 180 inch Plasma 3D TV prototype named LG PX950N. Supposedly it is also world's first TV to get a 3D THX Certification which is the ultimate recognition for cinema-quality 3D on a TV.

The TV has a self illuminating pixel that helps in wider viewing range for the viewers.

At the same time, it also supports the Multi Picture Format (MPF) function. This function allows the users to connect their 3D cameras to the TV and also simultaneously view their 3D pictures directly on the big screen.

PX950N comes in a FULL LED model and ensures easy connectivity through NetCast, DLNA certification and a wireless AV link. Thus this eventually gives a freedom to the users to have an access to a growing range of 3D movies and shows through online or digital libraries.

The IFA 2010 Consumer Electronics show that is supposed to happen from September 3rd to September 8th. And this time the exhibition will be celebrating its 50th Edition and a lot more new devices on the 3D platform.
