ManU fans protest against the club owners

Manchester-UnitedAmidst the failure of capturing the premier league title for the fourth time in succession and 19th time in total, the ManU were found protesting against the club's American owners the Glazer family outside the Old Trafford stadium.

People familiar with the situation claim that there were around 300 fans who were involved in a noisy demonstration near the club's superstore outside the stadium before the Premier League match against Stoke City started. The fans were found chanting anti-Glazer songs and brandishing placards.

The protest was against the Glazer family that took control at the reins of the club almost five years ago but has mounted about the size of the club's debt, estimated at around £700 million ($1.08 billion). Many fans were even found wearing the green and gold colour of the Newton Heath club that was in the late 1880s that later became Manchester United.

The Police confirmed that there was even a smoke bomb set off but there were no injuries or arrests reported. No one from the Glazers family attended the final match of ManU where in the team registered a win of 4-0 against Stoke City.
