Microsoft ties up with Dish TV for advertising Xbox 360 ArcadeThe provider of direct-to-home satellite television in India – Dish TV has announced that it has struck deal with the Xbox maker Microsoft for advertising its 'Xbox 360 Arcade' game console on its DTH network.

Microsoft has confirmed that it has entered into advertising deal with Dish TV, under which Dish TV will feature Microsoft’s new offering Xbox Arcade’s theme and logo on its gaming service and default landing interactive channel, 999.

In a statement, Dish TV has stated that the goal of Microsoft’s advertising campaign focused on Xbox 360 Arcade is to introduce families to the whole new world of casual gaming via reaching out to an audience of over 25 million viewers.   

According to the Microsoft India Regional Director (Entertainment and Devices Division) Jaspreet Bindra, the number of active gamers is growing, and by tying up with Dish TV, the company is sure to strengthen its position and reputation as the provider of “the best gaming console money can buy”.  

Meanwhile, the gamers will see two new games for Xbox Live Arcade, and a price cut on already released Brain Challenge this week. The two new games for Xbox Live Arcade will be “Star Trek: D-A-C” and “Texas Cheat ‘Em”. Star Trek: D-A-C is fast space shooting action game, while Texas Cheat ‘Em features casino-themed mini-games to test players’ cheating abilities. And, Brain Challenge, which is normally available for 800 MS Points, will be available this week for 400 MS Points.
