Mughal Gardens to open for physically, visually challenged and farmers todayNew Delhi, Mar 12: The Mughal Gardens and other Gardens in the Rashtrapati Bhawan will be exclusively opened for special category of persons from today.

The garden will be opened for physically challenged persons today followed by visually challenged persons on March 13, for defence and para-military persons on March 14 and for farmers on March 15.

These categories of persons can visit the Gardens from 10.00 a. m. to 5.00 p. m.

Entry into the Gardens will be only upto 1600 hrs through gate no. 35, which is located near the North Avenue.

Physically challenged persons visiting on their designated day, using wheelchairs will be allowed entry through the Rashtrapati Bhawan reception. Such persons can arrive through Hukmi Mai Marg or Rajpath along with their escorts.

Entry and exit for the visually challenged on their designated day would be through gate no. 12, near the North Avenue.

Visitors are requested not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags/ladies purses, cameras, radios/transistors, cell phones, umbrellas, arms/ammunitions and eatables. These articles will have to be deposited at the entry points at the owner''s risk. (ANI)
