Mumbai 26/11 Probe In Right Direction

Mumbai Anti-Terror Squad (ATS)The Mumbai Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) said that the probe of terror attack on Mumbai is heading in the right direction. Police is searching credible evidence to reach the actual planners and executers of Mumbai 26/11. ATS recently caught two suspicious persons from Lukhnow on Wednesday, who can help to trace the militant organizations involved in the terrorist attack on country's financial hub. Ansari and Sabahuddin are suspected members of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and police was successful in getting their remand till December 31. They are also believed to be instrumental in an attack on the CRPF camp in Rampur in February 2008.

Police claimed that they are active members of LeT who attended training camps. ACP of Mumbai police, Ashok Duraphe said, "We have information that these people have surveyed before and provided the details to their groups. We have interrogated the two on these lines."

Anti-Terror Squad is getting solid clues from Ajmal Amir Qasab, the only terrorist caught alive after the Mumbai terror attack. He was supplied a CD with the CST layout by the arrested suspect Faheem besides maps of Taj and Oberoi.
