Munich in lucky 2-1 over Frankfurt; Stuttgart lose again
Hamburg - Bayern Munich laboured to a 2-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday which will do little to take the pressure off coach Louis van Gaal and the team.
Alexander Meier opened the scoring for Frankfurt on the hour but Arjen Robben returned from injury to grab the equalizer 10 minutes later before Daniel van Buyten headed an 88th-minute winner.
Munich were far from glorious but fifth with 18 points, four behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen who were held 1-1 by Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
Elsewhere VfB Stuttgart crashed 1-0 at Hanover 96, TSG Hoffenheim thrashed Nuremberg 3-0, Mainz 05 also won 3-0, over SC Freiburg, while Borussia Moenchengladbach and Cologne drew
0-0. (dpa)
