Vineet Nayyar aiming to bring back Mahindra Satyam back on track

Vineet NayyarVineet Nayyar, Vice Chairman and MD, Tech Mahindra has bullish plans take Mahindra Satyam acquisition back on track. In fact, Mahindra's which acquired the troubled Satyam last year have been working on its integration and restructuring program.

Moreover, Nayyar believes that once he's able to take the company back on the path of steady growth, he will move on to pursue his education dreams.

Before Mahindra Groupd acquired Satyam, the grapevine was that Nayyar will leave the company to take care of his education dream full-time. However, with the company acquiring Satyam, it stretched his term for three years, which primarily included getting the acquired company back on track.

Nayyar, 70 has already established the St Cathedral Vidya School in Lonavla and is striving hard to maintain balance between his professional life and his dream of providing quality education.

Moreover, Nayyar's dream to contribute to the education industry has deep roots. He wants to educate the unprivileged students in the rural parts of the country. But the biggest task on his plate for now is to get Mahindra Satyam back on track which he hopes to do in the next two years time.
