New Domino's CEO to be Insider On Tuesday, Domino's Pizza Inc announced that it is looking to elect the head of the company's US division as the new CEO of the giant pizza delivery chain at an upcoming meeting, which is scheduled for next month. The new head will be replacing the present chief David Brandon who is stepping down on March 7.

The next CEO will be 46 year old Patrick Doyle, who joined Domino's in 1997 and moved on to become the head of the US unit in September 2007. During the February 24 meeting of the company, Domino's board is all set to vote on Mr. Doyle's appointment.

Mr. Brandon, as confirmed by Domino's, has been selected by the University of Michigan to act as its next director of intercollegiate athletics.

57 year old Mr. Brandon will continue to act as a special advisor to the company till the end of 2010. He had joined Domino's in March 1999 after the firm was sold to Bain Capital, a private equity firm, by its owner and founder Tom Monaghan.
