Seven killed when Taiwan tour bus plunges into ravine
Taipei - A tour bus carrying 28 people plunged into a ravine Saturday in the southern county of Kaohsiung, killing seven passengers and injuring 21, police said.
The bus was travelling on a bridge in Tashu township when it collided with a truck and was knocked off the bridge, dropping into the 10-metre ravine, police said.
The injured were rushed to two hospitals. Both drivers, who survived the accident, passed alcohol tests, police said.
Police were investigating the cause of the accident. (dpa)
