Papaya has cancer curing properties, says report
A latest research study conducted at the University of Florida, papaya can help in curing cancer. The report, which was published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, suggests that papaya possesses some anti-cancer properties. It is actually the papaya's leaf extracts that produces key molecules called Th1-type Cytokines, reported the University of Florida News.
These Th1-type Cytokines can boost the immune system of a human body and thus help in curing cancer. Papaya can prove helpful in curing various types of cancers such as breast, cervix, lung, liver and pancreatic cancer.
The professor of medicine and medical director of the UF Shands Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office, Mr. Nam Dang supported the qualities of papaya and said that it doesn't leads to any kind of toxicity in the patient. He further added that it can be taken over a long period of time to cure cancer. "In fact it can be taken by the patient as long as it is effective," he said.
The research report also said that papaya's curing capacity doesn't ends at cancer alone. It can be used to cure autoimmune diseases and inflammations. Having no toxic effects on the normal cell in a human body really makes papaya a strong anti-cancer agent solution and a long term cure of the disease.
