Mumbai - The benchmark Sensex tumbled over 245 points and the Nifty went below the 8,200 mark in early trade Monday on continued selling by funds and retail investors after October industrial production contracted sharply, amid a weak trend in the Asian region.

Falling for the third straight session, the 30-share barometer plunged by 245.64 points, or 0.89 percent, to 27,105.04 with IT, consumer durables, realty, capital goods, metal and oil & gas stocks leading the fall.

Auto, healthcare and power stocks also faced selling pressure.

The BSE index had lost 480.42 points in the previous two sessions.

Berne/New Delhi - Amid concerns of bullion trade being used for routing of black money, Switzerland's gold exports to India have risen further and is fast approaching Rs one-trillion mark for the entire 2014.

The Swiss gold exports to India stood at over 2.8 billion Swiss francs (over Rs 18,000 crore) in October, up from about 2.2 billion Swiss francs in the previous month, shows the latest data from the Swiss Customs Administration.

This has taken the total Swiss gold exports to India since January this year to 14.2 billion Swiss francs (nearly Rs 93,000 crore), as per the data compiled by Switzerland's cross-border trade monitoring agency.

The Kardashian game, available for iPhone, Android and desktop computers, has made an estimated 200 million dollars and it ranks as No. 11 on the Apple App Store's list of Top Grossing apps, E! Online reported.

Nagpur, Dec 14 : With Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing serious concern over the growing menace of drugs among the youth in the country through his 'Mann ki Baat' programme, the youngsters from various states on Sunday pledged to make India drug-free.

"Whatever Modiji has said, in simple language, is apt for the future of children. The drug slogan that he has accepted for the nation is very important. For that, the youth needs to support him and also help in improvising the drug- rehabilitation centers," said a youth from Nagpur.
