Oasis attacker under 12-month house arrest

Noel-GallagherDaniel Sullivan, the man who attacked Noel Gallagher during Canadian Oasis concert in 2008, has been sentenced 12 months house arrest.

The attack on Gallagher had cost him three broken ribs. During the concert Sullivan pushed Gallagher from behind forcing him into a monitor.

It's been two years to the incident, but so far no one has been able to find out how Sullivan breached the security to reach the stage. Even Sullivan is unable to answer the question on how he reached there. He said that he was too drunk to remember that.

During the trial Gallagher was unable to present in person, he sent a written statement saying "I ended up in heap on the floor". He described the feeling as "hit by a bus". Oasis had to cancel six concerts in North America and Europe following Gallagher's injury.

Although the prosecutors requested six to eight months in prison, but seeing Sullivan pleading guilty and no previous criminal history, the judge sentenced him 12 months house arrest. While he allowed him to work under house arrest, he barred Sullivan from drinking.
