Obscene visuals blocked by Pakistan
Obscenities on YouTube will be uprooted by the authorities in Pakistan, said PTA.
According to the official report released from the PTA it stated: Any obscene visual uploaded on YouTube should be blocked immediately in Pakistan. It is in lieu of the order passed by Sindh High Court on Wednesday to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
The court’s statement highlighted that if any kind of adult content was found being posted on the online sharing site, YouTube in Pakistan, then the PTA officials will be held responsible. And also PTA will face the heat of criminal offence.
This order had to be passed keeping in mind the recent events that took place, it was the recent petition held against a person named Faheem Mughal who managed to click some obscene photos of the petitioner’s 16 year old daughter from the cell phone of his adolescent son and had uploaded on the website, after converting them by adding objectionable features to its content.
